The FPMS project takes third place at the 2026 Constantinus Award
On 25 June 2026, the FPMS project was awarded third place in the ‘Digitalisation’ category at the International Mozarteum Foundation in Salzburg, receiving the prestigious Constantinus Award. Together with our client, EWP Recycling Pfand Österreich gGmbH, and our development partner, AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, we developed a fraud detection system (FPMS) and are delighted that this innovative project has now been recognised with this award.
The Constantinus Award, Austria’s premier consultancy, accountancy and IT prize, has been presented annually since 2003. A high-calibre jury selects the most creative, innovative and ambitious projects in the Austrian consultancy, accountancy and IT sector (UBIT) through a two-stage process. At this year’s festive Constantinus Award Gala, we were honoured with third place and were able to celebrate the occasion in style together.
About the Fraud Prevention Management System (FPMS) project
The FPMS project involves the implementation of an AI-based application to prevent fraud in the deposit scheme for single-use plastic and metal beverage containers. The system was developed specifically for this purpose, is based entirely on open-source components, and is operated on server infrastructure located entirely in Austria. What makes this project unique is the combination of cutting-edge research, IT experts and collaboration with the client.
